Christina Kirby, LCPC

Counselor/ Owner/ Clinical Director

I am a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have been working in mental health since 2016, in many settings including crisis beds (short-term residential treatment), mental health outpatient treatment, residential substance use treatment, intensive outpatient and traditional outpatient substance use treatment, and psychological rehabilitation.

I provide counseling to individuals, couples, and families who need encouragement, hope, guidance, and direction to maintain successful and productive lives. I provide a variety of services, including individual psychotherapy, family counseling, crisis intervention, and drug and alcohol assessments and treatment to adults and adolescents.

My areas of expertise span addiction and recovery, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, and depression. Other areas include codependency, childhood trauma, abuse survivors, anxiety, relationship issues, PTSD, LGBTQI, and couples and marriage counseling.

What makes me different from others?

I am silly and enjoy making people laugh. I use this as part of my therapy and work to engage my clients through storytelling, jokes, and fun analogies. I genuinely care about my clients and understand that mental health issues may happen after hours. I strive to make sessions meet the needs of the client whether that means being available after hours, or longer session times when needed.
