We are closed for the following holidays:

New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. It is at the counselor's discretion if they work the day after Thanksgiving.

Yes, Just Ducky offers both in-person and telehealth sessions.

 The Client Portal allows you to attend virtual sessions, request or cancel appointments, send and receive secured messages, and update your information or complete documents. 

Just Ducky currently takes the following insurances

Carefirst/ Blue Cross

Cigna

Medicaid

Magellan

United Health

We currently do not accept Medicare plans but are working on being able to accept them.

If your insurance is not listed here we currently do not accept it. If you would like us to accept your insurance contact us at justducky@justduckybehavioralhealth.com and let us know.

Payments and co-pays are expected the day of service. If you participate in telehealth services, you must have a credit card on file. 

Missed or late canceled appointments incur a cancelation fee of $25 for counselors. This can be avoided by contacting our office the day before your appointment. If you have to cancel due to an emergency, it is at the discretion of your provider if they are willing to waive their fee.

We offer text, email, and phone call reminders. Our text reminders are automated, so if you no longer want them, please let your provider or the office staff know.

We have a certain number of sliding scale positions offered. Accepting sliding scale is at the discretion of the provider.

We are a laid-back office where you feel at home and part of the family. 

At Just Ducky Behavioral Health our primary concern is the safety and well being of our clients and staff. In the event of inclement weather, we will follow the Anne Arundel County Schools Administrative Offices closures. If the administrative offices are closed, our office will be closed. If they have a delayed opening, we will delay our opening the same number of hours. A 2-hour delay would mean we will open at 10 AM.

If we are unable to open the office due to inclimate weather we will offer telehealth visits through the Valant/ MYIO portal, our back-up system Doxy or by phone (depending on your insurance).
